Fragrance Journey

Top Notes: Galbanum, pink pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and fenugreek. Heart Notes: Agarwood smoke, patchouli, ambrox, leather and ambergris. Base Notes: Costus root, muscone, sandalwood, olibanum and cypriol.

It opens strikingly green, galbanum sap cut with warm cardamom and nutmeg. Nutty fenugreek and smoky cypriol soon usher in the leather centrepiece, deepened by oud smoke and animalic ambergris. The drydown is a harmonious lather of muscone, sandalwood and frankincense that keeps the leather both raw and refined.

Performance

Longevity is outstanding, easily lasting well beyond twelve hours, with strong projection and a sillage that fills a room in the opening phase. The smoky, resinous leather is at its best in cool, dry conditions and after dark. It leans mature and confident, suiting seasoned fragrance wearers from their thirties upwards.
