Amouage Rose Incense, from the Opus XII Library Collection, is an amber floral composed by Bruno Jovanovic. It weaves rich Damascena rose through veils of sacred incense, creating a scent that is unmistakably floral yet deeply woody and smoky.
Fragrance Journey
Top Notes: Elemi, olibanum (frankincense) and a black ink accord.
Heart Notes: Damascena rose water, suede and frankincense absolute.
Base Notes: Myrrh, vanilla, sandalwood and cedarwood.
The opening is resinous and slightly peppery, elemi and frankincense setting a smoky, contemplative mood. The heart blooms with jammy Damascena rose, softened by suede and wrapped further in incense.
