The opening of Si Intense is broader and more colourful than the original — blackcurrant and cassis are joined by freesia, mandarin, and a bright bergamot lift. This creates a vivid, multifaceted entrance that sparkles and captivates. The heart reveals greater complexity: May rose is the backbone, but osmanthus adds a peachy, slightly leathery nuance; neroli contributes a luminous, citrus-floral softness; and a whisper of artemisia — herbal and slightly bitter — adds intrigue and dimension. The base is a richer, more grounded version of the original Si's dry-down: vanilla and patchouli remain, but ambroxan works harder here, producing a skin-warming, almost addictive signature.

Performance

Si Intense lives up to its name. Longevity is typically eight to twelve hours on skin, and sillage is noticeably fuller than the original Si. The osmanthus-neroli heart projects confidently in the first three hours before softening to a warm, rich trail. It is well-suited to cooler seasons but performs admirably year-round.
